So why are we friends with a park? STL Skeletons is a baseball team with a love-your-neighbor problem. Our team plays on Fridays in Cherokee park and anyone is welcome.
We started friends of Cherokee park when our ball field was vandalized by some ATVs doing donuts in the mud. Prior to partnering with Benton Park Neighborhood association, we were playing ball in the park, hosting guest teams from across this great nation. Now we want to restore our friend, the park.
Benton Park Neighborhood Association stepped in to back us up with an official webpage AND an email address, friendsofcherokeepark@bentonpark.org.
